“Okaeri” was originally by created by James Wright, and I was challenged to adapt a part of the script with no visuals- only the descriptions and the script. I do not own the text or characters.

Ruthie in contrast to Mayumi is American, and the goal with the designs was to make their different heritage evident. There are hints of this in their wedding photo, too.
