An illustration intended to be used for a Podcast cover. It is for Episode 2 of the Lore Podcast: The Bloody Pit.
What was important in the illustration was to create ghosts, with clear implications of death, without being tasteless. In my opinion, when it comes to real people, death should not needlessly be made a spectacle of, so while the clothing and tools are what would’ve been worn in the digging out of the tunnel, I did not draw specific people.
On top of the base illustration, there is an animated gif with it, showing the ghosts phasing in and out of existence.
